Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! It was such a beautiful and sunny weekend in Portland. How was your weekend? Josh and I tried to spend as much time outside as possible. On Friday, we went on a bike ride, played at the park and had a delicous BBQ. Saturday, we spent the day watching the USA World Cup game and running errands. Sunday, we had his parents over for brunch, which turned out delicous, we made french toast, cheesy, sausage strata and hashbrowns. And it's Monday again, but it's sunny and warm, which makes life so much better.

DIY Project

My best friend, Jenny, got me started on beading and I've been hooked ever since. But, life has been pretty hectic lately and I just havent had the down time to bead, so when I came across this DIY project on Liz's blog, I just had to share! It looks so easy and simple, I cant wait to try it!

How was your weekend? I had a fabulous weekend hanging out with my best friends, celebrating Fathers day with my family and spending down time with Josh. I just cant believe its Monday again, weekends go by way to quick!

What a brilliant idea! This chic, little salon in LA, Dry Bar, offers only blowouts- no haircuts, no color. They have different blowouts to choose from like “Manhattan,” (sleek and smooth) “Mai Tai,” (messy and beachy) or “Cosmopolitan” (loose curls). Long Weekend Recap

How was your weekend? It feels a lot like Monday today, but thankfully its already Tuesday. I stayed in town this weekend, which ended up being absolutely perfect. I was able to catch up with friends, spend time with my mom and family, run errands that I've been putting off for weeks and spend quality time with Josh. I feel well rested and ready to tackle this busy work week.

I wish the sun would come out already, I'm tired of this gloomy and rainy weather. If the sun doesn't come out soon, I may just have to go on vacation to a warm and sunny location...maybe Palm Springs?!
