Weekend Recap

How was your weekend?! Mine was perfectly relaxing and fun. The weekend felt surprisingly long!

Friday, my two best girlfriends from college came into town for the night. We prettied up and headed out to Portland. We must be getting old because by midnight we were all getting restless and couldn't wait to get home and in to bed!


Saturday, we woke up bright and early and headed down to the Pearl. We ate a delicious breakfast at Isabel, if you haven't been, I highly recommend it! After breakfast, we walked around the Pearl, shopped, and people watched.


Sunday, Josh and I woke up early for a morning work out at 24 hour fitness and finished the day off running errands from our trip to Cabo!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sorry for the blog silence! It's been a crazy week (isn't it always...). How was your weekend? I had a lot of family and friend time and it was perfect!

I came across this chocolate chip cookie recipe from Joy the Baker, and I absolutely agree with Joy, the cookies are perfectly delicious! The outer part is crunchy and the middle is soft and chewy...YUM! I've already made this recipe a couple time because my family just can't get enough!

Spring!

Spring is almost here! I can't wait for weekend bike rides, morning runs, picnics in the park and beautiful, sunny days!

And.. Josh found his passport the other night, so we're going to CABO!!!! so, so, so excited!

Josh has misplaced his passport and this small, yet very significant item may keep us from getting to Cabo. We're going to turn the house upside down tonight for one last search before canceling our tickets... sad.

Happy Monday! How was your weekend!? I took it easy and just relaxed, and it was exactly what I needed. I'm feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the week.

Josh and I finally booked our trip to Cabo and I'm so ecstatic! We're taking off the second week in April and I'm literally counting down the days. I can't wait for sun, relaxation, margaritas and naps on the beach. Have you been to Cabo, any tips or tricks I should know about?

Weekend Recap

Hi Lovelies! How was your weekend? Sorry for the blog silence, I had a crazy week at work and took Friday off to celebrate Josh's birthday. We had a full weekend of fun! On Friday, we went to Mother's for breakfast and mimosa's, shopped all day long and ended with a wonderful dinner with his family at his mom's house. On Saturday, we woke up bright and early and headed up to the mountain for a full day of snowboarding. It was sunny, warm and absolutely perfect, I can't wait to go up again next weekend.

Oh Monday...

It's just one of those days. It could be because it's Monday or because I'm getting sick, but, whatever it is, I'm just feeling down-in-the-dumps today. I wish it was still the weekend and I was lounging on the couch, doing absolutely nothing.
