Holiday Traditions

What are your holiday traditions? My family and I open presents Christmas Eve night and spend Christmas day watching movies, baking and eating good food, all the while enjoying each others company. I cannot wait!

Wedding Shoes

I'm obsessed with shoes: tall, short, flats, or heels. Shoes are the most important piece to an outfit. Lately, I've been thinking about what shoes I'd wear on my wedding day (when that day comes) and I've decided on the classic Christian Louboutin's. Ideally, my dress would be slightly shorter so you could see the classic red soles. I'm in love.

Happy {Busy December} Weekend!

Wow, what a busy Friday and my weekend isnt looking much different, but I'm looking forward to all of it! I'll be hanging out with my best friends, attending Josh's moms wedding (so, so excited to attend a winter wedding!) and hopefully getting some Christmas shopping done. It's suppose to snow in Portland tonight, and to be honest, I'm not looking forward to it.

December to Remember

I love this time of year and I cannot wait to start wrapping presents and piling them under the Christmas tree. I'm not a big fan of the cold, arctic weather, but I'm absolutely looking forward to all things Christmas, including: Christmas shopping, holiday parties, family time, volunteering with my family and friends, gingerbread lattes, pretty holiday outfits, Christmas tunes on the radio, making Christmas cookies, gift giving, Christmas lights everywhere and Zoo lights with best friends. The holidays bring out the best in people and that in it self is a wonderful thing.

Oh Monday...

Monday... how is it Monday already?! How was your weekend? Mine was too short and way too busy. I spent most of the weekend running around town trying to get everything squared away for the holidays (everything but Christmas shopping). I really need to get moving on my Christmas shopping, only 17 shopping days left, and I have lots to buy!!

Happy Friday! I'm exhausted today! So, so thankful it's Friday! Any fun weekend plans? I plan on catching up on sleep, shopping for pretty holiday outfits, going to mulitple happy hours and planning my trip down south to LA for the Rose Bowl and New Years since the Ducks won the Civil War game last night!

Sorry for the blog silence, Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one and it took me all day yesterday to get back in the swing of things at work. But, I'm back and feeling good. How was your Thanksgiving, it seems like it was forever ago! Mine was good-lots of family, friends, eating, drinking, and laughing.

Wine and Cheese Party

I love cheese, all kinds: gouda, chevre, feta, brie... I could go on and on, but I'll save you from boredom.

I would love to throw a wine and cheese party some day for my closest friends and family, and when I do, I'll be sure to replicate this idea from Real Simple. A tray filled with different kinds of cheese with labels about them, how it was made and which wine they pair best with. I love it- easy and super fun! Can't wait to start planning this.
