Happy {Sunny} Weekend!

Finally, the weekend! Life has been overwhelming lately, but the weekends wont be so relaxing the next few weeks, as they are packed with weddings (ah, so, so excited), bridal showers, party planning, and throwing a (surprise) party for my bestest .This weekend we are doing a Pub Crawl on Saturday (wish me luck!) and recovering on the boat on Sunday. I hope you all have a sunshiney weekend!

Sun-filled Weekend

It's so hard to get back in the groove of working, especially after such a wonderful weekend. Today is definitely a casual day for me, especially in the 100 degree weather. Thank goodness for AC in the office!

Finally.. Friday! This week flew by, and I'm so ready for the weekend! I love my job and their flexibility on working from home. Today, I am sitting on my couch with my laptop on my lap and working. It's perfect for a Friday.

It's suppose to reach the 100's in Portland this weekend, which is perfect for a day at Sauvies and a night at the Brewfest on the waterfront. Any one else planning on attending the Brewfest, any favorite beers? I attended last year, and had such a great time that I cant pass it up this year. Enjoy the beautiful sun this weekend!

The love of weddings

I absolutely LOVE weddings! They bring happiness, love, beauty and joy to everyone, especially the bride and groom. I'm looking forward to attending a few weddings this summer, and I must say, I can hardly wait! They are all Josh's friends/family, which makes me so excited for my friends and I to get to that stage in our lives. I love the planning, the details and all the beauty that goes into it. I would love to be a wedding planner some day, it would be such an exhilarating experience. Maybe in my next life!

Any good books you've stumbled upon this summer? I started reading The Namesake, and so far, I'm not too impressed. I'm hoping it will get better as I get deeper into it.

Have a lovely weekend! Any exciting plans? Josh and I are both getting off work early today and heading to Edgefield to lay on the grass and listen to some great music. As for the rest of the weekend, we'll just have to wait and see!

Death Cab For Cutie

My boyfriend suprised me with tickets to my one of my all time favorite bands, Death Cab for Cutie. They are playing this Friday at McMenamins Edgefield at 6pm. The thought of being with my guy in the sun listening to Death Cab is absoultely amazing.
